Summer Glau

 Glau's first TV credit was as a guest on in the 2002 episode of Angel. Director Joss Whedon was impressed and cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. She also starred in the role for the sequel Serenity. Glau had applied previously to play the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger alyssa Eile) part in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was defeated by Jessica Rey. She played Shelly who was a high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl from Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia returnee Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became a regular in season 3 and beyond. Glau also appeared in Mammoth which is a horror film. Glau appeared in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV movie. Glau played Cameron Phillips, a Terminator-infiltration unit sent back to Skynet in order to safeguard John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", included several scenes where Glau (in her role as Cameron) dances ballet and, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human Doppelganger) in the second season episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau was also featured as herself in an CBS episode of the Big Bang Theory's satirical comedy.
