Rosalia Vila Tobella[2] (born 25 September 1992),[3] known mononymously as Rosalia (Spanish: [rosa'li.a], Catalan: [ruz@'li.@]),[4][5][6] is a Spanish singer. She was born and raised in Barcelona. Her diverse style of music has earned her the title of "atypical pop star". [9] She was captivated by Spanish folk music at the age of 13 years old. She studied musicology at Catalonia College of Music and also performed at weddings. The album combines flamenco with hip-hop and pop music, the album spawned "Malamente" (single) and "Pienso en tu Mira (single). Both singles sold out and were praised by critics across the world. She is the eldest of four children to Pilar Tobella, an entrepreneur who runs a small metalworking company. Her father, Jose Manuel Vila, was born in Cudillero, Asturias. They split in 2019. (23.)
